The beautiful Mesòn Hidalgo in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, by the refined and super talented Laura Kirar.✨
Built in 1693, it was rumoured to once have been home to a priest who “healed people and performed miracles,” hence its aforementioned good juju, but today it’s been transformed into three distinctive guest suites and a retail spot, a model that is unlike anything else in the colourful tourist town.

To dramatize this two-room apartment located at the foot of the Montmartre hill, the decorator Marianne Evennou imagined daring arrangements, while playing on elegant tones of blue all-over. 💠
@marianne_evennou has a whimsical approach to interiors and in a 25 sqm apartment you have to use every inch. We find that she designed it to perfecion!

“Dans un appartement de 25 m2 il faut parfois trouver des astuces pour tout rendre compatible : conserver précieusement ses livres et exposer les tableaux et objets que l’on aime, ranger son bazar discrètement derrières des portes de placard, monter à l’étage et travailler sur son bureau. J’aime bien ses meubles hybrides qui réunissent toutes ses fonctions en étant tout à la fois bibliothèque/escalier/bureau/placard. Ici, le lieu peut en prime s’offrir le luxe de jouer avec la hauteur, la couleur et le mélange de style pour le panache” .
